Benninghofen predominantly features detached and two-family houses. Supermarkets, bakers, restaurants, a doctor, dentist, dispensing chemist and Sparkasse bank etc can all be reached on foot in around five minutes. The Phoenix See lake is about 1km away. A bus stop is two minutes away, with a stop for the underground railway about 10 minutes away. The B1, B54 and B236 main roads, as well as the A45 and A1 motorways, can all be reached by car in a few minutes.
