This appealing maisonette spans the building’s top storey and a garden level. The apartment is located right in the heart of the Südviertel, surrounded by shops, cafes and bars. The tram, which is three minutes’ walk away, offers a direct connection to Essen’s main rail station or Rüttenscheid.
The rent includes all running costs and service charges, plus the cost of electricity. Monthly cleaning of the apartment can be arranged at extra charge. A parking space can also be provided, for €60 per month.
We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the landlord, but it has been requested.

This cosy maisonette enjoys an open-plan design, and offers an appealing living room furnished with a sofa, large smart TV and a low sideboard. A few steps take you to the spacious dining kitchen. Oven, hob, dishwasher, side-by-side fridge and all imaginable cooking utensils are provided for you. From the living area, a staircase takes you to your bedroom on the garden level. This offers a double bed and lots of wardrobe space, meaning there is plenty of space for you to store your belongings. And of course, the bedroom also features window shutters. The property is rounded off by a storeroom in the top level. A washing machine and dryer for your sole use can be found on the building’s ground floor. Internet connection provided.

Südviertel
The Südviertel lies directly to the south of the city centre, and is where Essen’s office complexes are situated, as well as being its cultural hub. Furthermore, it is also a popular residential area. Of particular cultural and architectural interest is the Aalto theatre, which houses the Essen Opera. Further south, you will find the Ruhrland museum and the Folkwang museum. The eastern area of the district is a particularly sought-after residential area. The A40 and A52 can be reached in just a few minutes. Parts of the city centre are easily reached on foot, and several tram routes take you to other areas of the city.
