The apartment was renovated just a few years ago and is located in a quiet residential development in Herne (Eickel). Appealing, very stylish, harmoniously designed alternative to a hotel, with wi-fi internet access. The A43, A42 and A40 motorways are all only a few minutes’ drive away. Just a few minutes’ walk to tram route 306 (direct connection to Bochum’s main rail station). The rent already includes service charges and heating costs as well as electricity and internet access. A cleaning service is also possible if required, for an additional charge.
We have not yet received a copy of the energy certificate from the landlord, but it has been requested.

Lage

Herne’s Eickel district
This southern part of the town lies around five kilometres south-west of Herne’s centre. The Hauptstraße, which counts as the shopping area, leads to Eickel market, the old town centre. Around a small pedestrian zone are grouped the offices of the company Hülsmann AG, a new development of terrace houses with interesting architecture and a former brewery, as well as some restaurants and pubs. Eickel’s most popular residential area can be found near the Volksgarten park, but the area further to the north, near the sports park, is also a pleasant place to live. Right to the south, a nicely laid out landscape park can be found on the site of the former Zeche Königsgrube colliery. The A40, A43, A2 and A42 motorways are nearby. Buses, and to a lesser extent trams, take you to Bochum’s main rail station and Herne rail station.
