The spacious work room/guest room features a desk and a sofabed (1.40m x 2.00m). The light-coloured bathroom offers a shower. You can also have use of a washing machine and dryer in the building’s laundry cellar for €20 per month each. It is also possible to rent a parking space. The district of Aplerbeck lies around 6km to the south-east of the city centre, and is over 1,100 years old. The central focus and shopping area is Köln-Berliner Straße. Worth a visit is Haus Rodenberg, a moated castle dating from the Middle Ages. The northern part of Aplerbeck is a residential area with lots of greenery. Excellent links to the A1 and A45 motorways and to Dortmund airport. Good bus and underground rail links to Dortmund city centre.
